Sunny Leone is one Bollywood actress who makes our hearts skip a beat each time she steps out. The actress, who recently associated herself with a cancer fundraising drive, has said that a personal loss inspired her to join the campaign. Sunny Leone revealed that her father passed away due to cancer and she wants to use her experience to motivate people to fight the deadly disease.
While giving an interview to Mid-day, Sunny Leone said that her association with the fundraiser came from personal experience. She said, “I lost my father to cancer, so this initiative is close to my heart. If I can help even a single person through raising awareness and money, then we will have made a small achievement in the battle that lies ahead of us.”
Also, the actress spoke about how she wants to move other people to fight through her experience. She said, “Besides raising money for the cause, I will share my past experience and encourage people to fight the disease.”
On her Instagram, Sunny also shared the painting that she put up for auction in the campaign. “Finally done! Giving this one for auction to help raise money for cancer! In loving memory of those who are no longer with us! With each brush stroke I thought of you and how much I will miss you! Love you! #Mcan foundation’s #Fundraiser and #CharityGala to raise funds for providing financial assistance to the underprivileged fighting Head & Neck cancer ðŸÅ½—ï¸Â (sic),” she wrote.

On the work front, she was last seen in her biopic titled Karenjit Kaur. Sunny played herself in a web series that told her life story. It is to be noted that Sunny Leone lost her mother in 2008 while her father died of cancer in 2010.
