Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited film, Love Aaj Kal is all set to hit the screens on Valentine’s Day. A lot has been said and written about Sara and Kartik’s electrifying chemistry. However, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has axed several intimate scenes between the actors in the film. As per the censored list, the CBFC has removed a scene of the lead actors undressing themselves and also reduced the duration of a kissing scene. The board has even asked the makers to blur the visuals of cleavage that is shown after the lovemaking scene.
And finally, audio censoring has also been done. A sexually abusive word has been replaced with 'a**'. The words 'f**k', 'f*****g' have also muted. Finally, 'Haraamzaadon' has been replaced with 'Saale besharmo'.

Recently, the trailer of the film was launched and Sara was brutally trolled for her expression in a particular scene where she is seen telling Kartik, "Tum mujhe tang karne lage ho." Many memes were made on this scene and Sara was widely criticised for the same. In a recent interview with Film Companion, the Simmba actress opened up on dealing with trolls and how it all affected her. She said, "I don't mind being trolled for being fat. I don't mind if you troll me for wearing a cap. But I am here to act. That is my job. That is my profession. That is serious. So, when I am trolled for that, suddenly, with all the confidence still intact, it is harder for me to sit there and say ignore the trolls. For the first time, it actually kind of hurts. It hit me."

Talking about the filming of the scene, she further added, "We were not allowed to see the monitor. So, I had no idea what it was looking like. I’ve spoken to Imtiaz sir about this and what’s also happened is the fact that I don’t look good in that. When it comes to trolling for overacting, I’ll be honest with you...not only was I acutely aware of what my character had to feel but Imtiaz sir made me feel exactly what Zoe had to feel at in that point of time."
Meanwhile, Love Aaj Kal also stars Randeep Hooda and will hit theatres on February 14.
