Priyanka Chopra is all set to join hands with American filmmaker Barry Levinson to feature in a full-fledged film on the controversial life of Maa Anand Sheela but the news did not bring happy tears for the Osho cult queen who in a recent interview said that she has not given permission to Priyanka or the filmmakers to bring her story on silver screen and has sent them a notice on the same.
In an interview with Hindustan Times Sheela Bristel said, “I told her I do not give her permission to do [the] film because I have not chosen her... In Switzerland, we send legal notices very simply. I sent her an email which is accepted there as legal.”
Spilling beans about the notice she has sent to Priyanka she further revealed that no one from her team is yet to reveal send a response for the same. “Maybe she never had the opportunity to meet me or make time to meet me and it is no big issue... not everybody has the time to meet me” she further said.
On asking who would she want to take up her role, Sheela bared that Alia Bhatt matches her spirits during her youth and would like to see her playing Maa Sheela on screen.
Meanwhile, Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital content arm of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is developing another documentary of the controversy showing her side of ten story. The documentary will have a special conversation between Karan Johar and Sheela where she will eb throwing light on the unknown facets of her life,

She was multiple convicted attempted murderer and sentenced to 20 years in federal prison and paroled after 39 months.
