Madame Tussauds Delhi unveiled the wax statue of legendary actress Madhubala in her iconic Anarkali pose from the masterpiece film Mughal-e-Azam. The late actor's youngest sibling Madhu Brij inaugurated the wax statue.
The statue gracefully encapsulated the beauty of the Mughal-E-Azam actress Madhubala.
On the launch, Brij said to IANS "We are overwhelmed to know that Madhubala's figure would be part of the Madame Tussauds Delhi. This figure would allow her admirers to cherish the golden era of cinema and once again see her beauty. We are extremely thankful to the Madame Tussauds team for creating such a beautiful depiction of Madhubala". She praised the efforts of the artist who worked for overs six months to create the figure of the actress.

Anshul Jain, General Manager, Merlin Entertainments India Pvt Ltd, said that they are very happy to be unveiling Madhubala's figure in Delhi. Madhubala is unarguably one of the most beautiful women the world has seen and her aura remains among her fans even today," he said.
Madame Tussauds Delhi will also have wax figures of a superstar such as Asha Bhosle, Amitabh Bachchan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sachin Tendulkar and American pop queen Lady Gaga's statue on display.
