Made in Heaven star Arjun Mathur puts on ‘no-filter’ when it comes to his views about the acting game. The star who recently made his appearance on a chat show, 'By Invite Only' when asked to name the most overrated actor in Bollywood upfront laid-out his answer, "I don't think Sidharth Malhotra is a good actor" he said on the chat show which he shared with 'Sacred Games' star Kubbra Sait.
Mathur, who played Congress President Rahul Gandhi in The Accidental Prime Minister also expressed regret for starring in the movie, "I got hate for 'The Accidental Prime Minister' and I hate myself for doing that’’, fellow attendee Kubbra also seems to approve of the biopic movie adding that 'The Accidental Prime Minister’ and ‘Sanju’ are overrated films.
Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's web series Made in Heaven, where Arjun Mathur stars as a queer man won a lot of critical applauds from the viewers. One of the ground-breaking series in terms of the sexual-liberation battle, Arjun talking about the series said, "Around 10 people wrote to me that they have been able to come out (of the closet and speak) to their families because of my role," he said.
Opening up to the nudity scene in the series, Arjun jested, "I use this thing called substitution. I plaster my girlfriend's face on whoever you have to act with."
