The popular dancer-choreographer jodi who mesmerises us for years with hit songs like Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak and Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, will be back in Kalank as Madhuri Dixit will be seen dancing to Saroj Khan's dance steps. But the last few years posed a lot of challenges in the ace choreographer's life from rumours of retirement to getting replaced in movies
In an interview with Mumbai mirror, Saroj Khan spilt beans about her recent work with the dancing diva Madhuri, she said, "All through the film, she makes others dance and never dances herself, then, in the climax, when Varun Dhawan's Zafar enters the kotha, she breaks into a mujra," she explained. Speaking further she revealed details about her dance sequence by saying, "Tabahi is a sad, situational song with fast-paced beats. Madhuri and I danced our hearts out and I’m hopeful that after seeing it, people will remember Saroj Khan again."

She also revealed how she was replaced by Prabhudeva in Thugs of Hindostan when Katrina Kaif refused to do a song without rehearsals.
However, she has no qualms about getting replaced as she believes it's a part and parcel of the game. She has enough self-respect to not go to anyone's office asking for help.Â
Saroj and Madhuri are coming together after four years and the choreographer is waiting for Kalnk to release so that her work would speak for itself and people can revisit her golden times in the industry.Â
The national award winner quipped that she is in no mood to retire and believes in bringing the novelty of Bollywood numbers back.
