Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan’s announcement to part ways in 2017 after being married for 18 years came as a shocker for all of us. Though they have separated, the two are exemplary parents for their kid, Arhaan Khan. The former couple reunited on Saturday night to celebrate their son’s 17th birthday.

Arhaan's birthday celebrations looked nothing less than perfect. Apart from Malaika and Arbaaz, aunt Amrita Arora, uncle Shakeel Ladakh, aunt Seema Khan and maternal grandparents Joyce and Anil Arora were also present at the birthday party.

The birthday boy was dressed in his casual best. He opted for a grey hoodie, blue denim and a pair of red and white sneakers. Malaika looked stunning as always in a black dress. She kept her hair open and paired her dress with a stylish pair of black heels. Arbaaz, on the other hand, went all casual for the dinner outing. He was seen sporting an olive green tee and a pair of blue denim.

Arhaan's close friends Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor also dropped in to wish him.

Malaika and Arbaaz have now moved on in life and found love again. If Arbaaz is painting the town red with girlfriend Giorgia Andriani, Malaika is in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor.

Malaika was recently asked about the split. To which, she replied,"Divorce is a huge step and it gave me a sense of freedom because of the sense of being able to make a choice in life. A choice which is not applauded by too many people. People look down at you asking 'Why are you doing this?' 'Think about the consequences'.’’

Arbaaz also recently opened up on the recent conflicts in his life post-divorce. Talking about the same, he had said, "There was a time when I needed to be worried and now it's over. Whether you forget or forgive, whatever scenario you may choose, you have to move on. Look, if you forget then you have forgiven as well. But, if you forgive, you may have not forgotten it but at least you have forgiven. Choose whatever works for you."
