Lovebirds Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are currently having a gala time in Goa. The two ringed in the New Year with their close friends. Malaika has also shared an adorable picture with Arjun from their New Year’s celebrations on Instagram. In the picture, she can be seen giving him a kiss on his cheeks. She captioned it as, ''Sun,star,light,happiness.......2020.''
Soon after Malaika posted the picture, Arjun’s aunt Maheep Kapoor, wife of Sanjay Kapoor was quick to put a comment on it. She was all hearts for the cute couple!
Malaika also shared another picture with the entire group of friends and captioned it, ''Happy new year.''
This year, on Arjun’s birthday, the duo decided to make it official on Instagram and shared a photo from their trip. Later, on Malaika’s birthday, beau Arjun Kapoor also wished her with a picture.
In a recent interview with Filmfare, the actor opened up about Malaika. He said, ''We’ve come out because we feel the media has given us dignity. There’s a certain understanding the media has… they’ve been respectful, kind, honest and decent about it. That is why I felt comfortable. You recoil when there’s a certain “gandhagi” that comes with the territory. When purposely people irk you by saying, writing or asking things… there hasn’t been any of that. Where the paps are concerned, we give them photos when walking in and out of a place. It is normal.''
When asked about the marriage speculations, the actor revealed that he is not really thinking about marriage presently. ''I’m not getting married. I understand why there are speculations. Because in my own house people would ask ‘Tu shaadi kab kar raha hai?’ (When are you getting married?) It’s a very organic Indian question. If you’re with someone for even three days, the marriage question pops up. Thirty-three for most people in India is a great age to get married, but not for me. I still have time,'' Arjun concluded.
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in Panipat alongside Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. The film failed to leave an impression on the audience and critics.
