Forget the Karni Sena hullabaloo against the release of the Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi movie, because the start of the Kangana war had begun way before even its trailer release. As her first take in directing and the lead actress, the movie had undergone a tug of war amongst the Manikarnika crew until its release on the 25th January. One such controversy surrounding the shoot was the confusion between who the director between the two was, Krish or Kangana? The other unanswered question was why actor Sonu Sood choose to leave the shoot.
Hence, even if the movie is off with a good start, there had always been some beefs which fans need clearance. According to Latestly, shocking revelations were revealed made by the filmmaker, Krish when sitting down with spotboye.com that opens up to some skeletons in the closet regarding the lead actress, Kangana Ranaut.
As per the website spotboye.com, when filmmaker Krish was asked about how much Kangana exactly handled the film as a director. The filmmaker replied in some 20-25 per cent of the first half. He went on to say,’’ I didn't shoot a song and I didn't shoot her entry scene (where she fells a tiger's attack). 10-15 per cent in secon half. In the second half, she has even re-shot some scenes which I had done in a different way."

Regarding the credits of the movie, the filmmaker said that when the initial poster came out which bore the date had his name. This all changed when the teaser arrived stating that he was given credit, not for the current movie he is working on but his previous films which had his name not as Krish but as Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi which, he states he never use.
The filmmaker also went on to tell the entertainment website that, Kangana Ranaut was difficult to work with and was even shouted at. Was this the reason Sonu Sood left the movie? This was the one question fans have been wanting to know since its first poster release. To this question, the filmmaker stood by Sonu's side claiming that she cut down his screen time from 100 minutes to 60 minutes. She also insisted on ending the character at the interval despite that being against the history.
And for the Karni Senas who protested against the film for what they claim is a distortion of facts, Krish stated that Kangana had questioned back "So what? Let's just do what's good for the film."
Well, all we can say is, there is every side to two stories, the website showed Krish’s side after sitting down with him, and the other one will be Kangana’s, which we hopefully soon get to know.
