On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar shared the first poster of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film based on PM Narendra Modi. Titled Mann Bairagi, the film will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mahaveer Jain. The upcoming film is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy and is described as the ''untold story from the life of the Prime Minister which has not been in the public domain so far.'' Here’s all that you need to know about the actor playing the titular role in the film.
Abhay Verma, a budding actor, will be seen playing the role of PM Modi in this feature film. He shared a video on his Instagram story confirming the same. In the video shared by the actor, he can be heard saying, "Hi guys, I hope you all are doing well. So, the first poster of my film Mann Bairagi is out now. I hope you all like and I can't wait for you all to watch it. I can't believe this is happening to me.''
Abhay is also a part of a film called Naina Da Kya Kasoor song, co-starring Naqiyah. He shared the poster of the same and wrote, "HERE IT IS THEN!!!! Presenting you the poster of NAINA DA KYA KUSOOR. A sweet story and i hope you guys like it. It’ll be out soon and the best part is this beautiful song. Hope y’all like the song’s poster for now. Couldn’t have got a better co-star. The actor has also been part of many ad campaigns as well. Coming back to the film, the upcoming film is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy.In an exclusive report by HT, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was quoted saying, "The story was very well-researched, and the turning point of our PM's life as a young man, really intrigued me. I felt that it's an unheard story which needs to be told."
Mahaveer Jain is also confident about the film connecting with the youth. Talking about this, he said, "Mann Bairagi brings out that defining moment in the journey of our PM which has not been in public knowledge so far. I am sure it will connect and inspire today’s youth deeply, and that’s what excited us to work on this film." The film is all set to release this Winter.
