Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is knwon to be very expressive about political and social issues, reached a milestone of sorts on social media by crossing a collective fan following of 80 million on social-networking sites.
The 'Pink' movie star is really active on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, apart from having a personal blog on Tumblr.
The 75-year-old took to Twitter and thanked his fans for the 80 million followers. He tweeted, “BAAAADUUUMBAAAAAAA !! LISTEN TO THIS DEAR ALL Ef ..Collective social media followers reaches .. hold your breath .. 80 MILLION ... 80 MILLION .. !!!! Thank you for making this happen !!”

The actor currently has 31.7 million followers on his microblogging site Twitter, 27.6 million followers on Facebook and 6.2 million followers on his Instagram handle.
Megastar Bachchan is the most followed Bollywood actor on Twitter, as per the latest data released by the microblogging site. The veteran actor trails Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and secures second position as the most followed Indians on Twitter.
