The release of Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya is due on July 26th but the cinephiles are yet to catch a glimpse of its storyline with its trailer chiefly because the India Psychiatric Society wrote a letter to CBFC chairperson Prasoon Joshi objecting its title.Â
However, now Kangana's fans can now breathe an air of relief as the actress who was recently spotted outside the office of CBFC after a meeting with the film certification body for Mental Hai Kya, assured that the film will release with minor cuts.Â
The actor, known for her dedication towards work informed the paps that the name will be changed and information will be released by the production house very soon. The film was also given the U/A certificate.
Kangana, when asked about the reaction from the board, show revealed, "Well, there will be a mild change in the title of the film since they find it too harsh, so we are more than happy to do that. And, other than that there are absolutely no cuts and they were thrilled to see the film."
Kangana was making major efforts to get the movie a smooth clearance. She wants a seamless release. And, she's not one of those to sit and watch from the sidelines.Â
Meanwhile, the filmmakers and producer Ekta Kapoor released motion posters of the film some time with a disclaimer that read: "The film in no way marginalises the mental health community and the title of our film doesn't intend to offend or disregard anyone's sentiments."
