Shahid Kapoor has opened up on wife Mira Rajput's rumoured Bollywood debut and said that the diva is free to do whatever she wants to do. It was reported that Mira was being appraoched by several filmmakers for her big Bollywood debut and that she has been reading scripts as well. The media reports also suggested that Mira will soon be doing an ad with daughter Misha.
However, Shahid rubbished the reports of Misha doing any commercial. "It’s not my decision what Mira does, it’s completely hers. I read something about Mira, so far Misha has not been offered any work and I am happy about that as she is just nine months old. As far as Mira is concerned, she will do what she feels like doing. I don’t need to interfere. She is her own person and takes her own decisions. Whatever she decides to do, I will be supportive and happy," Shahid Kapoor reportedly told a leading daily.

Interestingly, Mira had recently made her small screen debut with Shahid Kapoor on Karan Johar's popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan'. The couple displayed a sparkling chemistry on the show and the two were made one of the most favourite couples of tinselvile.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming period drama 'Padmavati'. The actor is seen essaying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan in the movie which will feature Deepika Padukone in the titular role and Ranveer Singh as Allauddin Khilji. 'Padmavati' is scheduled to release on November 17 this year.
