Tony-Ann Singh of Jamaica was announced as the winner of the pageant. She was crowned by her predecessor - Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce from Mexico.

The grand finale of Miss World 2019 beauty pageant was held on December 14, 2019 in Excel, London. Tony-Ann Singh of Jamaica was announced as the winner of the pageant. She was crowned by her predecessor - Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce from Mexico. Miss Jamaica opted for a beautiful mauve and silver embellished gown for her crowning moment. With winged eyes and glossy lips, the beauty queen was crowned amidst hugs, cheers, and kisses.

Toni has been studying women's studies and psychology. The official website reads, "In her free time Toni enjoys singing, cooking, vlogging, volunteering and singing. Her special talent is that she can sing classical opera." Toni has always thanked her mother was supporting her in every step. She also reveals that the most important person in her life is her mother who has always 'facilitated her dream.''

Ophely Mezino of France was declared as the first-runner up, while Suman Rao of India was the second-runner up. Suman aspires to be an actor and has been busy over the past few months with several modelling assignments and studies. The trained Kathak dancer also went on to perform on the Miss World stage on Deepika Padukone's hit song, Ghoomar from the 2018 release, Padmaavat.

While speaking to news agency IANS after her Miss India win, Suman had said that she aims to strike an important conversation on gender equality in her community, as well as globally.

It was the 69th edition of the Miss World title and contestants from 120 countries competed for the title. After competing in several fast-track events, 10 were selected for the finals. Some of the contestants who competed for the title are Daniella Lundqvist from Sweden, Lucy Brock from New Zealand, Milena Sadowska from Poland, Bhasha Mukherjee from England, Naomi Colford from Canada, Malika Sera from Japan and Emmy Cuvelier from the US.
