In addition to this, Pinkvilla too has quoted another source confirming, "Manushi will be making her big Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the historical drama and YRF is producing it. Manushi has shown a lot of promise from the time she became a national craze. She is not only pretty but a great performer, too. She will be essaying Sanyukta's role and will be romantically paired opposite Akshay. Aditya Chopra feels she has a good screen presence and has also got her on board as one of the talents under his banner."
Interestingly, the leggy lass was also offered the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit RX100 opposite Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan, which is the latter’s launch pad. “However, Manushi felt that venturing into Bollywood with another newcomer would be too much of a pressure. She felt making her debut opposite an established star would be a better bet,” said a source in interaction with DNA.
The last time Akshay was asked to comment on the development, he had said, "The talks are on."
