Nawazuddin Siddiqui has revealed that there was a special reason behind him doing Sridevi-starrer 'Mom'. The actor, who will be seen playing an old man in the movie, admitted that he gave nod for the movie only because of veteran actress Sridevi.
It will be for the first time that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be sharing the screen space with Sridevi and he is way too excited about it. Talking about the same, Siddiqui was quoted as saying, "When I was approached for the film I just couldn't refuse as it was an opportunity to act with Sridevi".
While the movie itself has created a lot of buzz in the town, the makers recently unveiled Nawazuddin Siddiqui's first look from 'Mom' leaving everyone surprised.
The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor looked unrecognizable in a half-bald, bespectacled look and was quite excited to experiment with his look. "I am happy to see this new look of mine in the film. The film gave me an opportunity to do something different and look so different," Nawazuddin added.
Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, 'Mom' also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Pitobash Tripathy in key roles. The music of the movie is composed by musical maestro AR Rahman. 'Mom' is said to have a trilingual release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and will hit the theaters on July 7 this year.
