Bollywood actress has climbed the ladder of success through sheer hard work and is currently going through a golden phase in her career. She is going from strength to strength in her career. The actress will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer “Brahmastra”. And interestingly, she’ll be playing the main villain in the film.

In an interview with Times Of India, Mouni said, “I am playing the main villain in the film. I am really looking forward to it. What is more liberating for me is playing different characters that challenge me. I was surprised initially that they wanted me to play the villain.”

Mouni Roy was recently in the news for allegedly being in a relationship with “Uri” actor Mohit Raina. However, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Mouni clarified about her relationship status. She said, “I am completely, absolutely single and the way they say it, in love with my work now. There is no time for anything else. And I am completely enjoying the phase… once there is someone in my life, everyone will get to know about it.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mouni Roy has “Brahmastra” with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Made in China with Rajkummar Rao in her kitty.

Recently, Mouni Roy has had announced her exit from Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer upcoming film “Bole Chudiyaan”. Both the actor and producers blamed each other unprofessional behaviour. The producer of the film, Rajesh Bhatia claimed that Mouni was being “irresponsible”, while the actor’s spokesperson alleged that the makers were unprofessional and not her.

However, in response to Bhatia’s claims Mouni’s spokesperson said that the actor had not even signed the contract for the film because of “discrepancies” in it.

Importantly, this is not the first time a female actor has quit a Nawazuddin-starrer. In 2016, actor Chitrangda Singh had left the “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz” citing discomfort shooting intimate scene with the actor.
