Tapsee Pannu's recent release 'Naam Shabana' which has received a moderate response on its opening days gets a sudden weekend boost on Sunday.
The movie, which one of the most anticipated movies of the year has enjoyed the best weekend collection among the mid-budget releases of the year with an amount of Rs 18.76 crore.
While 'Commando 2', 'Phillauri' and 'OK Jannu', the other mid-budget releases were limited within a weekend collection of Rs 15 crore or so 'Naam Shabana' is on the top of the list with 18.76 crore coming in.

Previously the analyst took to twitter while criticising the box office collecton of the film.

Moreover, as there is no competition whatsoever from other big releases the movie may expect a stable weekdays ahead.
Hence, the content of the script will play a key role to make the movie rule in the silver screen.

Also starring Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee the movie is a spin off of Akshay Kumar’s 'Baby' and tells us the back story of their agent Shabana Khan and her journey before Baby.
On the work front, Tapsee Paanu, the 29 years old actress is now busy shooting his upcoming projects like 'Agra Ka Daabra','Judwaa 2' and others.
