Nafisa Ali diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, shares a heartfelt post

Veteran actor and social activist Nafisa Ali has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Nafisa on Saturday revealed it through an Instagram photo of herself and friend, politician Sonia Gandhi. She captioned the photo, “Just met my precious friend who wished me luck & to get well from my just diagnosed stage 3 cancer. 😍.”

Nafisa Ali, who is married to Arjuna Award winner Colonel R. S. Sodhi, is known for her work in Bollywood films like Junoon, Major Saab, Life in a Metro and Yamla Pagla Deewana. Most recently, she appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s gangster drama Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3. She also starred in 2007 Malayalam film Big B. 

After Irrfan Khan, Sonali Bendre and Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap, Cancer threw a curveball at veteran film actress and social activist, Nafisa Ali.

Recently, Sonali Bendre shared that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastised. Sonali is currently in New York undergoing treatment. Irrfan Khan also shared with his fans a few months ago that he has been diagnosed with NET. He is in London since the last couple of months and will return to India soon.

Ayushmann Khurrana's wife, Tahira Kashyap also posted on social media recently that she had to undergo mastectomy after she was diagnosed with grade 0 cancer.

Nafisa Ali is quite active on social media and often shares selfies and family photos. As soon as she shared that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, fans and well-wishers posted prayers and wishes. 

Nafisa Ali Sodhi is married to Polo player retired Col R.S. Sodhi and has two daughters Armana and Pia, and a son named Ajit.
