Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, renowned for his ability to perform diverse roles, is awaiting the release of his upcoming film 'Mom'. The actor who stars along with iconic actress Sridevi in the movie has said that if given a chance to feature in a remake of any of her past films, it would have to be Mr. India.
“There are many movies of Sridevi which I love, like ‘Lamhe‘, ‘Chandani‘, ‘Mr. India‘, ‘English Vinglish'. But I would love to play the role of Mr. India in the remake of the film,” Nawazuddin said.
Mr. India tells the tale of a poor kind man who adopts orphan children. And after knowing about his scientist father's invisibility device he decides to save all of India from the clutches of a villain and also fight for his children.
The role of Mr. India in the movie was played by superstar Anil Kapoor and now Nawazuddin Siddiqui wants to play this character.
Sridevi is returning to the silver screen after 5 years with the movie 'Mom' which is also her first movie with Nawazuddin. She was last seen in English Vinglish in 2012.
