Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's sister Syama passed away at the early age of 26 yesterday. Syama was battling breast cancer for eight years since she was aged 18 but fall prey to the fatal disease and breathed her last in a hospital in Pune. Nawaz’s brother Ayazuddin Siddiqui confirmed the news.
Syama's funeral would take place on Sunday at their ancestral village Budhana in Uttar Pradesh. Nawazuddin is currently in the US for a movie shoot and will fly down for the funeral.
In October last year, Nawazuddin shared his sister's adverse condition on social media while wishing her on her 25th birthday.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in a family movie titled Motichoor Chaknachoor alongside Athiya Shetty. It did not do well at the box office but was loved by fans. Nawaz will be seen in a romantic drama titled Bole Chudiyan too. In Bole Chudiyan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen opposite Tamannaah. The actor's web series McMafia recently recieved Internalational Emmys' Award 2019.
