Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi recently turned eleven months old as parents and the couple recently bared about their experiences of parenthood only to give young parents a few more goals.
The couple who has always made a point to safeguard their daughter from public glare appeared on The Love, Laugh Live Show earlier this evening and went on to speak about parenthood and a lot more to Shibani Dandekar.
During an interaction, Neha went on to reveal that motherhood has made her more disciplined, appreciating the value of time over the months she has been one. She added, "The one thing that I would always struggle with was time. So you know I’d always be late, but I would manage. My time management skills have become much better because as a mum you just want to fit in that much more." That's not all though
She went on to speak about her daughter and added, "She should not grow up taking things for granted. What you have done with your life is what should matter the most."
On the other hand, Angad went on to speak about star kids. "I feel kids should be kids. Like, I don't, in my head space, I don't understand 'celebrated' kids. Like, have they achieved something, is my first question. But then you can't become celebrated because of not doing anything," He goes on to add, "I really want to protect my daughter because I don’t wish to have her in a very confused state of mind. Because all of a sudden what is going to happen when becomes say 13 or 14, then she’ll not know where did all those people go who keep on clicking her."
On talking about how she balances motherhood with work, she revealed she gets much support from Angad. “When he has a schedule, he has a film or something that is going on, then I say, 'okay fine I will be at home, I will be with her.'
So we make our schedules accordingly, but then it overlaps sometimes. But we manage it well. We have a great team at home.
Sometimes I get up early in the morning, go for a workout and take her to the park and then my day starts. From her nap time to reading stories to taking her to park, I am there for her as much as I can do.” Said the actress.
Neha finally promised that she will soon share a picture of the kiddo, Mehr soon, hopefully as it seems as she completes a year this November.
