Nepotism controversy: Vidya Balan NOT interested in debate, says 'I am bored'

It's been a couple of days since the nepotism debate has taken over Bollywood and everyone is beaming with their opinions on the controversy. But unlike everyone, Vidya Balan has no interest in the controversy and admits to be bored of the entire issue.

The actress has admitted that she is so bored with the nepotism topic that she ends up turning the page everytime she reads anything related to it.

Interestingly, the much touted nepotism debate was instigated during IIFA 2017, when Varun Dhawan along with hosts for the event, Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan, mocked actress Kangana Ranaut in the wake of the nepotism controversy.

While the trio had later apologised for their comment, the issue had already caught the fire.

Asked about her take on nepotism, Vidya was quoted as saying, "With due respect to everyone who has been involved in this controversy, I am bored of this. Who's on whose side, who is saying what. Today even if I read that word (nepotism), I turn the page. All of that happened a few months ago, now something new has happened. I am not interested, sorry."

On the work front, Vidya Balan will be seen in Suresh Triveni's directorial, 'Tumhari Sulu' in which the actress will be seen playing the role of a radio jockey. The movie is expected to release in December this year.
