Ashvin Kumar’s yet another challenging project, No Fathers in Kashmir after a long tussle with the CBFC finally have its trailer release, and true to the name the director has acquired, the 2.28-minute trailer doesn’t disappoint. The trailer starts off with young Noor finding romance in the most unusual of times with a local Kashmiri boy Majid, followed up by an ugly reality into the mysterious disappearances of civilians.
The trailer forecasts Noor who comes to Kashmir in search of her missing father, and Majid who falls in love with the inquisitive, braveheart beauty vows to help her out. Set against the backdrop of the lush Kashmiri hills with the raw performances of the actors, the No Fathers in Kashmir trailer truly is a different cup of tea for movie lovers.

The movie which is based on true events stars Zara Webb, Shivan Raina Ashvin Kumar, Soni Razdan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Natasha Mago, Anshuman Jha and Shahnawaz Bhatt in lead roles.
Ashvin Kumar, who is known for very challenging movies such as Little Terrorist , Inshallah Kashmir had been facing a yearlong battle with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) since 2018 until the board finally passed the film with an Adults (A) certificate in October. No Fathers in Kashmir hits theatres on 5 April.
