No Pain No Gain; Farhan Akhtar Suffers Arm Fracture During Toofan Shoot

Farhan Akhtar who is all set to stun his fans with a never-see-before avatar in Toofan recently got injured in the sets of the film. The ‘Sky Is Pink’ actor fractured his arm in the process for filming some heavy duty action scene. Farhan who has been practicing boxing even before the film went on floors in August this year  will essay the role of a boxer in the film.

Taking up to Instagram, Farhan shared the X-ray of his injured hand and captioned it saying, "When nature plays Tetris .. and yup, that’s my first legit boxing injury .. a hairline fracture on the hamate (courtesy @kongkoul )found among the carpal bones of the hand.#nopainnogain #ToofanInTheMaking #trophycollector #weareallthesameinside." Here's wishing him a speedy recovery.

It was on September 30 when Farhan shared his power-packed first look from the film. "Toofan Uthega!! FIRST LOOK! #TOOFAN releasing 2nd October 2020!!", wrote the actor with a picture that had him packing a punch looking super deadly inside the box ring. Considering this is the first time he's playing a boxer, the anticipation has been on a high, ever since, with fans hoping to see one helluva film in the offering.

Farhan was training under Drew Neal who is the former world kickboxing champion, making sure there is no compromise on the guidance.

The actor is doing his bit for the society to promote sports by his films giving an impactful message through them. Owing to the actors’ popularity Farhan as he has been chosen as the Indian ambassador for the UEFA champions league.
