Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ has been making waves at the box office ever since it was released on January 25. The period drama which opened with a massive response has maintained the momentum on day seven.
The Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer has managed to win the hearts of movie buffs. Â The makers who had a tough time in releasing the film in India are now basking in its glory.
Right from the grand set to the impeccable performances of the actors, Padmaavat has earned rave reviews from all the corners. Even the constant protests from fringe groups were not able to affect the business of the much-awaited film.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the movie on Twitter. Padmaavat collected Rs 14 crore on Tuesday taking its total tally to Rs 143 crore.Â

Padmaavat is not only roaring at the Indian box office but is swarming the overseas audience as well. The flick is creating new records with every passing day.
The movie which also stars Jim Sarbh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Raza Murad in supporting roles is doing wonders in Australia. The royal drama which is based on the epic poem Padmavat has crossed A$ 2 million in the island country.Â
Interestingly, only three films have been able to achieve this feat in Australia.
