'Padman': Amitabh Bachchan to play THIS role in Akshay Kumar-starrer

Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie 'Padman' recently got a new entry in the cast after Amitabh Bachchan confirmed his role in the movie.

While speculations were rife about his role, the megastar has finally spilled the beans about his character.

According to the media reports, Big B will be seen playing himself in 'Padman'.

The veteran actor confirmed the news in his blog where he also mentioned about shooting some of the scenes with Akshay and Sonam Kapoor.

"R Balki shoots a film with Akshay Kumar and Sonam at the IIT Delhi, one of the most prestigious institutes of world reckoning and wishes that I make a small appearance as myself for a few shots..." wrote Bachchan in his blog.

He also shared a few photographs with Akshay and Sonam from the sets of the film.

Interestingly, this will be Bachchan and Balki's fourth collaboration together after "Cheeni Kum", "Paa" and "Shamitabh".

He also did cameos in films produced by Balki, such as "English Vinglish" and "Ki & Ka".
