Akshay Kumar is on a roll these days. His latest release PadMan is winning the hearts of the audience and doing wonders at the box office.
The film which was released on February 9 has managed to earn rave reviews from the critics. The comedy drama which dealt with a social issue opened up to a good response at the box office and has maintained the momentum till now.
The film which tried to break the stigma around menstruation also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles.
The R Balki directorial has entered its second week and collected Rs 3.15 crore on day nine to take the total business to Rs 68.12 crore till date. The movie has minted Rs 10.26 crore on the very first day and the strong word of mouth of publicity will help it do well in the next few days.
Bollywood trade analyst Tarana Adarsh shared the total box office collection of the film on social media.

PadMan was released in 2750 cinema screens in the country. The flick is inspired by the life of social activist Arunachalam Murugnantham who invented low-cost sanitary pads for the women in rural areas.
The makers of the film chose an aggressive marketing strategy to promote PadMan. Khiladi Kumar introduced the PadMan challenge where people had to pose with a pad in hand and pass on the challenge to others.
Several Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan actively participated in the challenge and helped in promoting the film.
