As Padmavati controversy seems to be not ending soon, makers of other upcoming films are feeling a sense of fear, if the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture clash with their flicks.
The makers of upcoming flick ‘Game of Ayodhya’ fears the release clash with ‘Padmavati’ which is postponed due to its ongoing controversy.
Suniel Singh - Director of ‘Game of Ayodhya’ feels that its not only about release date clash but the plot of the film as well. Their movie also has a controversial plot and all this recent Padmavati controversy might also affect the release of ‘Game of Ayodhya’.
The movie ‘Game of Ayodhya’ is loosely based on the event around the time of 1992 of Mosque demolition.
The director of the film also said that as the plot of the film revolves around the incident of 1992, so the release of the film should not be affected as a lot of time, effort and money has been involved in the making of the film.
He also said that the film has already been through the procedure of censor board but he has his fears as some films still face protests despite receiving certification.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ was supposed to release on December 1 but as of now the final release date is yet to be revealed.
‘Padmavati’ stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.
