Padmavati to tell the story with a huge twist at expense of Ranveer Singh?

The buzz from B-town is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently busy with his next venture Padmavati with Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. 

Padmavati will see Ranveer playing Alauddin Khilji, Deepika the titular role of Rani Padmini, while Shahid will be seen essaying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. 

But there is a twist in the tale as an industry source reveals. 

Padmavati will explore Alauddin Khilji’s fascination and attraction towards his slave-general Malik Kafur. Hence Ranveer will reportedly be playing a bisexual character. 

Ranveer had said on a podcast that if the script demands he would not mind playing such roles. 

The source further suggests Jim Sarbh will be seen playing the role of Malik Kafur. 

Padmavati is one of the most anticipated movies being made on a huge budget.
