Pati Patni Aur Woh featuring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in prominent roles is continuing its winning streak at the box-office. The film has scored Rs 4.36 crore on Thursday, taking the overall collections to Rs 55.97 crore.
Sharing the impressive box office performance of the film on social media, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote: "When numbers do the talking... #PatiPatniAurWoh emerges a winner... The film opened at Rs 9.1 crore on Friday, and collected Rs 12.3 crore on Saturday and Rs 14.5 crore on Sunday. It was Kartik’s biggest opening, continuing the young actor’s streak of success after films such as Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is an adaptation of the 1978 drama of the same name, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead roles. It is being directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra. The film is slated to release on 6 December, 2019.
The film clashed with Ashutosh Gowariker’s historical drama, Panipat which didn’t fare too well at the box office. The film has managed to collect Rs 25.68 crore.
