Actor Bhumi Pednekar says playing sharpshooter Chandro Tomar in Saand Ki Aankh has been a life changing experience for her. The actor, best known for her roles in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, says she was initially apprehensive about doing justice to the role but now considers it "one of the most special films" of her career.
"I remember the first time I was offered this film. I was like how will we ever pull it off. Will we be able to do justice to it and their epic story? And now I can proudly say @tusharhiranandani this is been the most special film of my career.

The film is based on the lives of two elderly sharpshooters from the village of Johri, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar.

Saand Ki Aankh shows how these two women defied odd and traditions to pursue their goal and attained national fame by winning more than 30 national championships after the age of 65. They are considered the oldest sharpshooters in India.
