Akshay Kumar recently pulled out a rare and daunting task of interviewing the Prime Minister of India in a "candid and completely non-political" conversation. Khiladi Kumar quizzed the BJP leader on several topics from anger management , love for mango to movies and even post retirement plans.Â
He also took chance to know how active PM modi on Twitter and the conversations taking place on social-blogging site.
To which, PM Modi replied in Hindi that roughly translates as, "I follow your tweets as well as that of Twinkle Khanna. At times I feel she lashes out on me on Twitter so that peace is restored at your household and domestic life. All her angers takes toll on me that is why you breathe a sigh of relief. That is how I have been helpfull to you."
He added that he met Twinkle Khanna's paternal granddad Chunnibhai Kapadia many years ago in a drought struck area in Gujarat where he was involved in social work and together they used to run a cooperate butter milk center.
He revealed that during one of the programs in Mumbai, a renowned sweetshop owner made Chunnibhai meet Modi who donated for the buttermilk center.
Twinkle Khanna is known to speak her mind and often takes to Twitter to make strong opinions. Back in 2017, Twinkle Khanna had lashed out at Modi government for imposing hefty taxes on sanitary pads.
PM Modi's take on her social media posts caught her attention and she too tweeted on the same. "I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work", tweeted the actress turned columnist and writer who tweets ar MrsFunnyBones.
