Prabhas starrer "Saaho" is likely to shift its August 15 release date by a few weeks to avoid a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's "Mission Mangal" and John Abraham's "Batla House". The festival weekend is a coveted slot by big stars but big films also don't like to clash at the box office as it divides the profits. "It is not releasing on August 15 as scheduled. The release date of 'Saaho' will be pushed ahead because some work is still left on the film and the VFX is taking a longer time. The film is likely to release either on August 30 or September 6 but no date has been finalised yet," a source close to the production said.
"Saaho" is an action thriller, written and directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series. It marks Shraddha Kapoor's debut in South Indian cinema and Prabhas' first release after "Baahubali2: The Conclusion" in 2017.
The film has been shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Earlier, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's highoctane song ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ was released. Psycho Saiyaan begins with Shraddha Kapoor, looked stunning in a black sequin dress, gearing up for the party as Prabhas steps on the dance floor.
The track is a signature peppy number with the potential to become the next party anthem.
Through the lyrics, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas declared their love for each other in the craziest of terms. Shraddha's brilliant dance moves will remind you of her performance in ABCD 2. Prabhas however, struggles with his choreography in the song.
TBH, after watching Shraddha and Prabhas groove to Psycho Saiyaan in the first half of the song, the ending scenes are a collage of the action sequences from the film as seen in its trailer.
Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, the Hindi version of Psycho Saiyaan has been sung by Sachet Tandon and Dhvani Bhanushali.
Also starring Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi and Chunky Pandey in supporting roles, Saaho, a spy thriller produced on a lavish budget of nearly Rs 250 to Rs 300 crore will release in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
