Priyanka Chopra's comeback to Bollywood with Shonali Bose 'The Sky Is Pink' is all set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and the actress cannot contain her excitment already. The 37-year-old actress recently took to Instagram to post an adorable picture of her along with her film's cast to inform that the film premieres at TIFF on September 13.
In the picture, Priyanka dressed in a black monokini and a hot pink shrug can be seen happily posing with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf on a beach. In her post, Priyanka also revealed that she is on her way to TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) . The caption on Priyanka's post read, "On my way to TIFF today. Can't wait for the rest of the team to join me for the premiere on September 13. So excited for the amazing early reviews and to share this with the world."
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar too shared a post with Priyanka informing that the trailer for the movie will be released soon. Priyanka is riding Farhan's back in this aww-worthy pic. Captioning the post, Farhan said, "#TheSkyIsPink was made with not just hard work but with a lot of love and it is overwhelming to receive so much love and appreciation at #TIFF! Trailer will be out soon guys! Stay tuned!"
The Sky Is Pink revolves around the life of the parents of a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13, reportedly to be played by Dangal star Zaira Wasim.
Produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, the movie will release on October 11, 2019.
Priyanka Chopra was last seen in a video by the Jonas brothers titles Sucker. Priyanka looks magnetic romancing opposite husband Nick Jonas. She was also a part of the Hollywood rom-com; 'Isn't it Romantic'.
The Sky Is Pink went on floors last year and it has been shot across a variety of locations. However, the major sections of the film have been shot in Mumbai, Delhi and London. The film has been jointly be produced by Priyanka Chopra and Roy Kapur films.
Speaking of her association with the project, Priyanka Chopra earlier said, "The Sky Is Pink is a story that I connected with from the minute I heard it and in Shonali's hands, it's been crafted into a moving, beautiful film that will renew our faith in love and life."
The Sky Is Pink will be Zaira Wasim's last film as the actress a few months back announced her decision to quit acting on social media in June, saying it interfered with her faith and religion.
