Putting an end to the speculations over the next brand ambassador of Incredible India, Priyanka Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan have been chosen as the face of government’s campaign.
Followed by the centre’s decision to discontinue the contract of Aamir Khan after his intolerance remark on India, the decision now finally pulls off the curtains.
A number of celebrities were shortlisted from sports, entertainment by the tourism ministry to be the face of Incredible India campaign.
A female face had also to be chosen for the ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ series which is part of the 'Incredible India' campaign to attract foreign tourists.
Aamir had irked the nation by his controversial remarks on the rising intolerance in the country. He had said that his wife Kiran Rao, even asked if they should move out of India as she feared for the safety of their children.
