Born to a middle-class family of army physicians, Priyank Chopra, despite being one of the most recognised faces in the world reveals that she never lose base with her background. Sitting down with members of the comedy group East India Comedy - Sahil Shah, Sapan Verma, Angad Singh and Sumukhi Suresh, Priyanka when asked the one middle-class habit she still holds on to reveals that it is ‘aachar’.
“Aachar with all my food. I have aachar with sandwiches also. So, if you have a cheese sandwhich and you have aam ka aachar, it’s epic, like homemade aam ka aachar, you can’t have like the mixed pickle.”
Like the most of us, Priyanka further adds that she enjoys online shopping during sales. “Saving money is fun. It’s fun for everyone,” she added.
PeeCee on the workfront had her ‘The Sky Is Pink’ released. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim is a love story of a couple from their daughter's lens who has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
‘The Sky Is Pink’ opened on the theatres on October 11, 2019.
