Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raaz, which was released on May 11, has created ripples at the box office. The spy thriller has managed to win the hearts of the audience with its gripping storyline and impeccable performance of the lead actors. Â
The Meghan Gulzar directorial opened on a high note and collected Rs 7.53 crore on the very first day. The film has seen an upward trend, all thanks to the positive word of mouth publicity.
Raazi raked in Rs 3.15 crore on Wednesday to take the total collection to Rs 88.48 crore. Interestingly, the flick has crossed the domestic lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar starrer PadMan.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of Raazin on social media. He mentioned that the movie had the potential to deliver well till the time Race 3 hits the theatres.

The film which is based on the novel Calling Sehmat has now set its eye on entering the coveted Rs 100 crore club. If Raazi manages to achieve the feat, it will become the fifth movie of 2018 to cross Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Padmaavat, Baaghi 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Raid are the only films which have minted over Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office.Â
Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message for Raazi, calling the film her little baby. ‘’A moment during the making of Raazi. Words can’t do justice for the gratitude we feel for all the love you’ve given our little film! Raazi is a week old & lifetime proud, but for us it’ll always be our little baby’’, the Highway actress wrote.
