It has been one week since the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer science fiction film has released worldwide. Every single version of the movie is churning out big at the box office of different regions for its producers. On its opening day, 2.0 grossed more than Rs 100 crore worldwide and crossed Rs 500 crore mark in just one week of its release. Helmed by S Shankar, the Hindi version of the flick collected Rs 9.5 crore on Wednesday and has grossed more than Rs 132 crore at the box office in first week.
With this figure, 2.0 is now the second highest grossing Hindi dubbed flick surpassing S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali, making it Rajinikanth’s highest grossing Hindi film to date.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the total box office collection of 2.0 in Hindi version. He wrote, "#2Point0 continues its winning streak... Before the release of the film, the Madras high Court also issued an order to 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block more than 12,000 websites which features pirated versions of Tamil movies. But, the movie was somehow leaked on TamilRockers just after few hours of its release.
In 2.0, Rajinikanth will be seen reprising the role of doctor Vaseegaran and Chitti while Akshay will be making his South Indian cinema debut with an antagonist role.
