New Delhi:
Superstar Rajinikanth warned his fans on on Thursday against indulging in any kind of indiscipline. He said that anyone who violated his fans club's code of conduct would be expelled from it.
Any specific incident was not hinted by the superstar but the message was given to the fans as they went into celebration mode after his hinting a political entry and pasted his posters in parts of Chennai and elsewhere hailing him.
Protests were also staged by some of the fans against fringe outfits that oppsed his political entry. Fans also tried to burn his effigy two days ago retaliating a group burning the actor's effigy.
A letter addressed to the fans was released to media in which Rajinikanth has said that he has authorised V M Sudhakar, a senior functionary in the All India Rajinikanth Fans Welfare Club, in order to remove people who indulged in any kind of indiscipline.
"I am authorising V M Sudhakar to remove functionaries and members of our club from its primary membership if they are found maligning its discipline and reputation," he said.
Despite the presence of ''efficient'' leaders like DMK's M K Stalin and PMK's Anbumani Ramadoss, the actor had last week said to his fans that the "system is rotten"
He had also asserted his Tamil identity, saying "naan pachai Tamizhan" (I am a pure Tamil), in an apparent bid to respond to his critics and pro-Tamil groups who bring up his Kannada origins.
