2018 is turning out to be a blockbuster year for movie lovers as several interesting films are set for release. The year already has started on a high note with the releases of Padmaavat, PadMan and Pari.
Fans have been waiting with anticipation for Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0. the sci-fi film has been making waves ever since the project was announced by the makers.
The makers Lyca Productions organised a grand audio launch for the much-awaited film last year, which turned out to be a huge success.
2.0 however, has become the latest victim of online leak as a rough cut of the movie had found its way online and went viral immediately. This comes after the trailer of Rajnikanth ‘s another movie Kaala was released online.
Some miscreants leaked the 44-second-long teaser on social media sending the fans into tizzy. While some were excited to teaser much before, others were not so happy with the leaked video.
Soundarya Rajnikanth, Kabali actor’s younger daughter condemned the leak of the teaser on Twitter. She said ‘’leaking the content online before the official release should not be tolerated’’.

The makers of the film have officially revealed the reason behind the leak. Indian film distributor for Europe took to Twitter say that 2.0 teaser was leaked from K.Subaskaran’s birthday party. Subaskaran is the head of Lyca Productions, the company producing the film.
The teaser of S Shankar directorial was the screened for VIPs at the birthday and it was from here it got leaked.
