Ram Rahim biopic: Raza Murad, Rakhi Sawant to play self-styled godman and Honeypreet on silver screen

After creating much of chaos over his conviction in decade-old rape cases, self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is under spotlight yet another time.

According to reports, a production house is gearing up to make a Bollywood movie on Ram Rahim's lavish lifestyle, hidden behind the mask of saint. If reports are to be believed, actor Raza Muraad will essay the life of Ram Rahim Singh while controversial actress Rakhi Sawant will be featured as Baba's adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan.

Going by the rumours, the Ashutosh Mishra directorial will also witness Aijaz Khan in the role of an investigation officer. Apart from Honeypreet, Ram Rahim has two biological daughters and one son, for whom no confirmation has come as yet that who will be playing their roles.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who has a great passion to represent himself on the silver screen, had earlier been featured in several other flicks such as 'Jattu Engineer', 'MSG: The Messenger' and many more.

In August,2017, the self-proclaimed godman was sentenced to 20 years of jail by a CBI court for raping two of his female disciples back in 2002.

Meanwhile, the hearing of two of his murder cases is in progress and the court has sought a response from the CBI on seven applications, and listed them for hearing on September 22.
