As two of the most versatile actors, the duo since their public announcement has fans eyeing on what the next stage of their relationship has to unfold. Luckily for us, even the very likely soon-mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor feels the same. In fact, reports have it that Neetu is impatient to have Alia as her daughter-in-law. And if rumours are to be believed, Neetu wants Ranbir and Alia to tie the knot this June. So, wedding-mongers, if you think 2018 was the year of weddings with the likes of Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal, then you haven’t the best of it yet.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Neetu Kapoor has been insisting that the two tie the knot this June. Unlike Neetu who is on a wedding-rush, the Brahmastra couple wants to take their time and not rush things. Rumours have it that the two wants to wait before they get engaged into any form of formal engagement. Going by the many speculations, a report in Mumbai Mirror had this to say, “While everyone is speculating about another Bollywood wedding this year, but it is being reported that the couple plans on waiting it out, at least until their upcoming film together is released.” But since Ranbir is very attached to his mother, it won’t come as a surprise if Neetu Kapoor manages to convince Ranbir to exchange rings early this year.

To strengthen the bond, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen together for the first time on-screen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra starring Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy which is slated to release on December 20, 2019.
