Deepika and Ranbir will walk the ramp for the popular fashion designer at the annual Mijwan fashion show. Interestingly, fans can see them reunite soon as the show will be conducted on April 9.
Manish Malhotra took to Instagram to share the blockbuster news with the fans. He shared a collage of Padukone and Kapoor, with the caption, ''The Walk Of Mijwan Fashion Show. 9 years of Mijwan, the journey. Muses - The fabulous, dapper and charming Ranbir Kapoor with the very beautiful, stunning Deepika Padukone... together for Mijwan’’.
NGO Mijwan Welfare Society, which was founded by Shabana Azmi’s father Kaifi Azmi, aims to create employment opportunities for women and also revive the art of the famous chikankari embroidery. The Ankur actress now heads the NGO along with Namrata Goyal.
Bollywood’s Baadshaah Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma walked the ramp for Mijwan fashion show, last year. Leading celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor have added glam and oomph factor to the event.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with the shooting of Brahmastra, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The Barfi actor will also be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s yet-to-be-named biopic.
Talking about Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood diva has taken a break from shooting, owing to her back problems. The leggy lass of tinsel town was last seen in Padmaavat which set the box office on fire.
