Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy with his Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's upcoming biopic, might go behind the bars now. According to the media reports, the young actor will go to jail for a week to get a first-hand experience for Dutt's biopic.
Ranbir, who will be portraying Sanjay Dutt in the movie, is putting in every single effort to give the movie his best shot.
He has not just put in 13 kgs of weight but is also seen building up a physique like the 'Khalnayak' actor.
In order to give his performance a real touch, RK is planning to spend a week in a prison, to get an experience about how Sanjay Dutt spent years behind the bars.
Sanjay Dutt has spent years in Pune’s Yerwada Jail while serving the sentence for possession of illegal arms.
In fact, if the reports are to be believed, Ranbir has even got in touch with Bhopal police authorities to get the permission to stay in jail for a week.
While News Nation independently couldn't verify the authenticity of these reports, but if it turned out to be true, it will indeed be a major step by Ranbir Kapoor depicting his sheer dedication towards Dutt's biopic.
Talking about Sanjay Dutt's biopic, the movie will focus on the actor's entire life, his jail term, love affairs and Bolylwood journey too.
Interestingly, the movie will also feature the original scene of Dutt's release from Yerwada Jail in February 2016.
Apart from Ranbir, Dutt's biopic will also feature Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma and Manisha Koirala in key roles.
