Ranbir Kapoor to play DJ unaware of his superpowers in Ayan Mukherjee's 'Brahmastra'?

Ayan Mukherjis'  much anticipated movie Brahmastra has already created much hype with its stellar star cast and spectacular logo launch accompanied by fireworks at the Kumbh. Although the director, Ayan Mukherji has not revealed much about the plot and the characterization of the sci-fi thriller, but the initial tease confirms hat it indeed is a are-telling of a mythological story.

However, an insider has reveled an exciting detail about Ranbir's character from Brahmastra to Mid Day. Turns out ranbir will play a DJ in the film who eventually realises about his superpowers.

Reveals the source in interaction with Mid Day, "Ranbir plays a DJ who walks out of his house against his father's wishes. The story then traces his journey as he tries to fulfil his dreams and discovers his superpowers in the process."

The source also revealed that Rabir's character will have the super power to unleash fire from his palms. The actor has undergone rigorous training in various forms of martial arts for the role. "The film has some high octane action sequences. Ranbir trained in traditional Indian martial arts, including Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai, before the film went on floors in 2017," adds the source.

Ayan has earlier posted a dreamy look of Ranbir with flowing locks nut informed it was through the initial times when hislook was not finalized. 

Apart from Ranbir-Alia, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna is said to be playing a villian in the film.
