Randeep Hooda has now revealed that even he had seriously considered the option, but he changed his mind after talking to his father.
"I thought about havÂing my own child through surÂroÂgacy. I even disÂcussed this with my parÂents and they were okay with this thought and idea," he told in an interview with Hindustan Times.
However, Randeep decided to take his step back having a discussion with his father. "My dad said, 'Beta, bachcÂhon ko maa ki zaÂroorat hoti hai (a child needs a mother). How are you goÂing to manÂage that? Do you want your child to be deÂprived of a mother?'
I said 'No'. I would rather wait for the right time to get marÂried and have a child, who would get both parÂents to love him/her," he said.

After being quizzed on his thoughts about marriage, Randeep revealed that his parents were constantly trying to convince him to get married and start a family. "Oh yes, my parÂents put that presÂsure all the time. My mom sneakÂily shows me the picÂtures of girls who have sent marÂriage proÂposÂals, though I don't think it is goÂing to hapÂpen anyÂtime soon," he laughed, adding, "But then, you never know what hapÂpens next."
But it seems as the Highway actor has already married work and films are enough to make him happy for the time being.
"With actÂing, my life is comÂplete. I'm in a reÂlaÂtionÂship with my work and my love for anÂiÂmals and soÂcial work are just an exÂtenÂsion to my perÂsonÂalÂity. I'm very inÂvolved in it and all these reÂquire my comÂplete atÂtenÂtion," he said.
On the work front, Randeep will soon start shooting for Imtiaz Ali's next, which features Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. He was last seen in Baaghi that also starred Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
