Randeep Hooda has now revealed that even he had seriously considered the option, but he changed his mind after talking to his father.

"I thought about having my own child through surrogacy. I even discussed this with my parents and they were okay with this thought and idea," he told in an interview with Hindustan Times.

However, Randeep decided to take his step back having a discussion with his father. "My dad said, 'Beta, bachchon ko maa ki zaroorat hoti hai (a child needs a mother). How are you going to manage that? Do you want your child to be deprived of a mother?'

I said 'No'. I would rather wait for the right time to get married and have a child, who would get both parents to love him/her," he said.

After being quizzed on his thoughts about marriage, Randeep revealed that his parents were constantly trying to convince him to get married and start a family. "Oh yes, my parents put that pressure all the time. My mom sneakily shows me the pictures of girls who have sent marriage proposals, though I don't think it is going to happen anytime soon," he laughed, adding, "But then, you never know what happens next."

But it seems as the Highway actor has already married work and films are enough to make him happy for the time being.

"With acting, my life is complete. I'm in a relationship with my work and my love for animals and social work are just an extension to my personality. I'm very involved in it and all these require my complete attention," he said.

On the work front, Randeep will soon start shooting for Imtiaz Ali's next, which features Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. He was last seen in Baaghi that also starred Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
