Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is yet to start shoot for his next movie Inshallah featuring Salman and Alia, bur he has plans ready already for his upcoming untitled production venture
The filmmaker has got on board Randeep Hooda for his next production, a thriller, which is yet to be titled. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the film is expected to go on floors in August this year.
The report further suggets that the thriller film, a breather from his periodic dramas will mark the directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua who has previously written Mubarakan, Firangi and has also penned the yet-to-release, Saand Ki Aankh.
Informing the tabloid that Randeep will play a cop in the film set in a small town, the source stated that the director is set to start the recce soon.
The source has been quoted as saying, "Randeep plays a cop in the film which has a lot of twists and turns. Balwinder has been working on the script for a long time and recently started pre-production. He will start the recce shortly."
Besides this production venture, Bhansali's next, Inshallah, has also got the viewers excited. While not much is known about the film yet, the fact that it brings together Alia and Salman for the first time is reason enough for viewers to await the big budget film.
Meanwhile, Randeep will reportedly feature in Imtiaz Ali's sequel of Love Aaj Kal, featuring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Interestingly, this will not be the first cop-avatar for Randeep, who has portrayed different shades of the said profession in films including Baaghi 2, Kick, Jannat 2 and Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai.
