Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has made a splashing comeback to the silver screen with her latest release Hichki. The film which hit the silver screens on March 23 is enjoying a stupendous run at the box office.
The Sidharth P Malhotra opened on a positive response on the first day itself and minted Rs 3.30 crore. Trade pundits were expecting a superb show from the film and Hichki proved them right.
The much-awaited movie raked in Rs 2.35 crore on Tuesday to take its total tally to Rs 20.10 crore. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the film on social media.

Hichki, with its thought-provoking and socially relevant message has been able to impress the audience. The Yash Raj Films production is the official adaptation of the book- Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had.
Rani Mukerji, who previously delivered the hit Mardani, played the role of a teacher Naina Mathur in the drama film. The Black actress’ character suffered from Tourette Syndrome but still overcame all the odds.
Critics have applauded the Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna actress for her brilliant performance in the much-awaited film.
Maneesh Sharma, the producer of Hichki is elated with the overwhelming response of the audience. "Such reaction is truly humbling. We backed a film that was raising important social message and could affect genuine social change... The Rs 20 crore budget inclusive of all costs was recovered before the film released at the theatres through non-theatrical revenue aperture," Sharma said in a statement.
The Baand Baaja Baaraat ditrector added, "The success of 'Hichki' gives us a lot of confidence to produce such universally appealing subjects that can touch the hearts of audiences worldwide’’.
We really hope Rani Mukerji keeps on delivering such promising films.
