Ranveer Singh, who will be seen playing Kapil Dev in the upcoming film 83, went to cheer the Indian cricket team at the ICC World Cup 2019 at Old Trafford in Manchester. After India’s win against Pakistan, the actor was seen consoling a Pakistani fan and the video of the same has been going viral.
In the clip, the actor is seen hugging the upset fan and saying, "Put it there, man, put it there. There's always next time! Don't be disheartened, you played well. Boys are dedicated, committed, professionals and they will be back."

The film is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup where the celebs will be reprising the entire cricket team that lifted the trophy in 1983. The team has started shooting for the film in England.Â
